Former PNP Chief Alan Purisima requested to the Sandiganbayan for him to travel to the United States.
Based on Purisima's motion to travel to the 2nd Division of the Sandiganbayan, it requested to travel from April 23 to May 9 this year.
Purisima said she was scheduled to head to Mississippi, United States to attend the 2018 National Book of the Play and the Annual Meeting of the Royal Order of Jesters as she was elected by Manila Court 198 as the country's representative at the said meeting.
He said he will go to San Francisco, California where he plans to visit his family there.
The alleged PNP chief asserted that he knew the legal consequences in the event that he allowed and violated court conditions so promised that he would not escape his cases
Purisima is facing a perjury case in relation to not declaring the right amount of property in his SALN.
