PNP General who is involved in illegal gambling will be arrested by fellow policemen

More than 1,500 policemen including an officer with the rank of Chief Superintendent are on watchlist of the PNP Counter Intelligence Task Force.

According to Police Senior Supt. Jose Chiquito Malayo, CITF chief, subject to their validation and monitoring on 358 police officers and 1,177 Police Non-Commissioned Officers.

He said they only get enough evidence and afterwards they will immediately enter an entrapment operation.

Meanwhile, Malayo said that based on the text message that came to them, a general was allegedly involved in illegal gambling.

However, it is low on its activity so it is difficult for them to validate the previous report they received.

Malayo, however, could possibly arrest CITF personnel in general.

In 11 months of operation, CITF will be contacted by 60 police officers.

It is in response to the calls and texts they receive.

Top complaints that they have recorded are the consequences of drugs, kidnapping, warfare, and other illegal activities.
