The fire destroyed the UP shopping center within the University of the Philippines (UP) in Diliman, Quezon City.
Fire started at around 7:50 am which was lifted on the second alarm. Alas 8:20 am when the fire was declared under control.
The UP shopping center is one of the establishments within UP Campus which is considered an institution and historical.
Fires in the shopping center of the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman in Quezon City this Thursday.
Rodic's, located in UP Shopping Center, is a dining hall dating back to 1949, as well as other restaurants, computer shops and photocopying services.
In the photo taken by ABS-CBN News, the building was sealed with dark and thick smoke, at 7:45 am.
