As expected, the House committee on justice has approved the impeachment of Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno in the last polls.
The poll results from 38 members of the committee voted on the conviction that there was enough "probable cause" to allow the Senate to file the Sereno's dismissal case while two contests were filed.

In this regard, the committee has immediately ordered the formation of committees which include vice-chairmen of the committee which are to be drafted by articles of impeachment.
