Manny Pacquiao's fight is set to June 24 on WBA welterweight champion Lucas "The Machine" Matthysse in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Aquiles Zonio, a media relations officer, said the date agreed by the fighting senator camp and Golden Boy Promotions led by boxing legend Oscar Dela Hoya.
The two camps will be on March 22 in Kuala Lumpur for official launching of the fight.
After the launching, they will conduct a media tour in several Asian cities such as Beijing, Tokyo, Macau and Hong Kong.
Pacquiao's training will begin in April.
According to Pacquiao, he is excited about the fight because he is an Argentinian boxer aggressive fighter.
His trainings in Manila from May 14 to June 1 are scheduled for training from June 2 to and 2nd week of JUne in GenSan.
It is considered the first big boxing event in Malaysia after 43 years.
