Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio has been working on why she will not invite members of the New People's Army (NPA) to the upcoming Araw ng Dabaw.
It was once recalled, the city had been inviting rebels to take part in big-city occasions but the mayor won't do it this year because she does not want to be included in the police list that provided support to government enemies.
In spite of this, Mayor Sara will continue to condemn any rebellious acts of the NPA.
It was learned that in the days of former Mayor and now President Rodrigo Duterte, NPAs were invited to participate in city activities especially on Christmas and Araw ng Dabaw.
