More groups and court employees, requesting CJ Sereno to RESIGN!

In line with the flag raising ceremony today in the Supreme Court, workers and judges call for more groups to ask Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno to resign as Chief Justice.

Today, SC employees will wear red shirt as today's Red-Shirt Monday, a call for CJ Sereno to drop her position as CJ.

In a statement released today, among groups ask CJ Sereno to resign are the Philippine Judges Association (PJA), Regional Trial Court (RTC) organization with 1,200 incumbent members across the archipelago headed by President and Marikina RTC Judge Felix Reyes, and the Philippine Association of Court Employees (PACE) nationwide organization of employees of courts.

The Supreme Court Assembly of Lawyer Employees (SCALE), the Supreme Court Employees Association (SCEA) and the Sandiganbayan Employees Association (SBEA) have also expressed support for the call.

PAF pilots, practicing 'flying skills' using the FA-50PH fighter jets

The fighter pilots of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) are undergoing a three-day air defense training exercises.

The three-day training program is aimed at strengthening and maximizing the flying skills of pilots.

According to Philippine Air Force (PAF) Spokesperson Maj. Aristides Galang said these training exercises called "Sanay Sibat" a simulated air defense exercise aimed at strengthening the pilot's skills and air tactics with the supersonic fighter aircraft equipped with modern radar, avionics and weapons systems.

Galang added that during the day-to-day exercises, fighter pilots demonstrated their hustle of their five air combat scenarios including the suppression of enemy air defense, tactical air intercept and combat air patrol.

PAF leadership now plans to make air defense training exercises semi-annually.
On the other hand, Philippine Air Force (PAF) chief Lt. Gen. Galileo Gerald Kintanar is a tactical demonstration flight as a culminating activity in three days air defense training exercises.

The flight of Air Force chief in the FA-50PH exercise fighter aircraft at 40,000 feet aboard is part of the culminating activity.

Highlights of the said training exercises will showcase the capabilities of the purchased FA-50PH fighter jets from South Korea.

Aside from the FA-50PH, the PAAF also deployed their S211 trainer jets.

The "Spear Spear" exercises are part of Central Luzon and the Clark Air Base in Pampanga is the staging area.
